Company History
Beckman & Associates, Inc., incorporated in 1999, is a Specialty Therapy Clinic founded in 1984 by Debra Beckman, MS, CCC-SLP, an internationally recognized expert in oral motor speech and feeding disorders.
Since the initial founding, the clinic has expanded from one provider focusing on oral motor speech and feeding disorders to 11 therapists providing services for multi-disciplinary concerns.
The clinic also provides off-site practicum placements for graduate students in these fields through a close association with the University of Central Florida and Nova University. Beckman is a visiting profession for the University of Central Florida. Building clinical expertise through research is a focus at this clinic
area.
In March of 2009, the clinic moved to an expanded site, custom designed for the environmentally sensitive individual. This is the only pediatric therapy site of this kind in the Central Florida Area.
