The Eye Center of North Florida has a main location in Panama City, FL and three satellite offices in the surrounding local area. Each location has an optical shop and contact lens department on site. With over 100 staff members working alongside the physicians, The Eye Center of North Florida delivers exemplary care to its' broad range of patients, young and elderly. The AAAHC Accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center is situated at the main location. Our specialties include General Optometry and Low Vision Services, Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Oculoplastic Surgery, Retina and Vitreous Diseases and General Ophthalmology.
The Eye Center of North Florida was the first practice in Florida to obtain the Alcon® LenSx Laser for Femtosecond Cataract Surgery. The physicians of The Eye Center of North Florida also participate in numerous clinical studies as well as teaching and innovating. Company History
The Eye Center of North Florida became an entity in March 2000 following the merger of two long time Panama City practices, both of which had been in existence since the early 1980's.
